Brandon Peterson
Owner / Lead Mentor

    Through navigating the recruiting process twice personally, playing at Junior College and Division 1, along with being drafted and playing professionally, Brandon knows what it takes to play at every level of baseball.  He has played where you want to play.

    Brandon grew up in Savage, MN, and graduated from Burnsville High School in 2010 as an All-State shortstop and pitcher.  After high school, he attended Des Moines Area Community College where his team played in back-to-back Junior College World Series.  Following DMACC, Brandon attended Wichita State University and found his niche as the closer for the Shockers, helping lead them to an NCAA Regional.  As a Shocker he won 1st team All-Conference and Missouri Valley Newcomer of the Year awards, and was nominated for the NCAA D1 "Stopper of the Year".

    Following his junior season, Brandon was drafted in the 13th round by the Minnesota Twins, and played 5 years professionally for the Minnesota Twins, LA Angels of Anaheim, and St. Paul Saints.  During those years he accumulated numerous honors including: MN Twins Pitcher of the Month; Relief Pitcher of the Year; Minor League All-Star; and won 2 minor league championships. 

    Throughout Brandon's career, he has developed countless valuable contacts at all levels of collegiate baseball.  Along with his network, he has a positive reputation for his baseball IQ.  Finally, Brandon is known for his character as being an upfront and honest professional.  In choosing PPA, you will know Brandon is with you every step of the way.

Lincoln Hochmuth Mentor

    From playing at the collegiate level, to coaching and recruiting for his own collegiate program, Lincoln has proven experience navigating the recruiting process as an athlete and a coach.  Most importantly, he is honest and upfront with athletes, families, and coaches alike.

    Lincoln grew up in Cannon Falls and attended St. Croix Lutheran High School, where he was named All-Conference as a Pitcher and Outfielder.  After high school, he attended and played at Augsburg University, filling roles as a starter and closer and was named 2016 Augsburg Pitcher of the Year. 

    Following his playing career, Lincoln moved into coaching at the Youth, High School, Club, and College levels.  In 2019 he was named North Iowa Area Community College Pitching Coach and Recruiting Coordinator before being named Head Coach for the 2022 season - winning ICCAC Coach of the Year.

    During Lincoln's three years at NIACC, the Trojans sent 50+ players to 4-year schools, including 30+ to the Division 1 level.  With that, Lincoln has developed an abundance of connections at every level of college baseball.  Combining his coaching and recruiting experience, Lincoln provides our PPA Athletes with extensive insight on what it takes to be successful at the next level.
